Jess Lamb is a freelance wine writer and editor.
After studying English Literature at the University of Sheffield and several years spent working in international sales and business development, Jess made a career change in 2017 in order to pursue the passion for wine that she had discovered in the bars and restaurants of New Zealand.
She has since written and edited for local and national publications and wine businesses, managed wine for hospitality businesses and spent time studying for her WSET qualifications. She is currently studying for her WSET Diploma, and when she is not writing Jess can usually be found with a glass in one hand and a wine book in the other!
Jess is a creative, experienced and passionate wine professional with a talent for communication and storytelling. She thrives on championing everything that is exciting, interesting, unusual and arcane about the world of wine; her particular areas of interest include the wines of New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and England, as well as organic and biodynamic winemaking.
